Your Privacy Matters

How we handle information collected through amoresdental.com.

Last updated: April 30, 2026

Amores Dental respects your privacy. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect when you use our website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, please reach out using the contact information at the bottom.

1. Scope of this Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Amores Dental Care, LLC (“Amores Dental,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information gathered through our website at amoresdental.com (the “Site”).

This policy covers website activity only. Protected health information (PHI) you provide during clinical care is governed separately by our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, which is provided to you at the office. If you have not received a copy, please ask any team member or contact us using the details below.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly. When you request an appointment, contact us, or use our chatbot, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, preferred location (Dadeland or Palmetto Bay), and any details you choose to share about your dental needs or questions.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, our hosting provider and analytics tools may automatically log your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, pages viewed, and timestamps. These are used to operate, secure, and improve the Site.

Cookies and similar technologies. We use a small number of cookies and local storage entries to remember your language preference, keep our forms working correctly, and measure aggregate traffic. You can disable cookies in your browser; some features of the Site may not work as intended without them.

3. How We Use Information

  • Respond to appointment requests, questions, and feedback you submit through the Site.
  • Send appointment-related communications such as confirmations and reminders.
  • Operate, secure, monitor, and improve the Site and our services.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.

4. Service Providers We Use

We rely on a small set of vendors to operate the Site. These providers process information only on our behalf and under appropriate confidentiality terms:

  • Hosting and security: Cloudflare (website delivery, DDoS protection, edge logs).
  • Email delivery: Mailgun and Google Workspace (transactional and team email related to your inquiries).
  • Chat assistance: Anthropic (the AI provider that powers our website chatbot). Conversations may be processed to generate responses; please do not include sensitive medical information in chat — call the office instead.
  • Reviews and reputation: Birdeye and Google Business Profile, when you leave a review or interact with embedded review widgets.

5. When We Share Information

We share information only as needed to operate the Site and our practice, including:

  • With the service providers listed above.
  • With our team members involved in coordinating your care or responding to your inquiry.
  • When required by law, subpoena, or other valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our patients, staff, or the public.
  • In connection with a sale, merger, or other business transition, where information may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to confidentiality protections.

6. Data Retention and Security

We keep website inquiry information only as long as necessary for the purposes described above or as required by applicable law. Clinical records are retained according to Florida dental record-keeping requirements.

We use industry-standard administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to protect information transmitted through the Site. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

7. Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Site. Parents and guardians may submit appointment requests on behalf of a child. If you believe a child has provided information directly through the Site, please contact us so we can delete it.

8. Your Choices and Rights

You may contact us at any time to:

  • Request a copy of personal information we hold about you that was collected through the Site.
  • Ask us to correct or delete that information, subject to any legal record-retention obligations.
  • Unsubscribe from non-essential communications. Appointment reminders and other transactional messages may continue.

Residents of states with consumer privacy laws (including California) may have additional rights, such as the right to know, delete, correct, or opt out of certain processing of their personal information. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information below; we will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

9. Third-Party Links

The Site may link to external sites such as social media or review platforms. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. Please review their policies before providing them with information.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes will be communicated through the Site or by other reasonable means.
